- 2 years as a Project Superintendent on commercial projects including Bakerview Square, Bay City Supply, The Broadway Apartments, and Top Line Trading.
- 2 years as the owner of By The Bay Construction specializing in tenant Improvements for Scottrade, Chicago Title, Labels Clothing Consignment Store, Along Comes a Baby, Birch Bay Tax Accounting, Part Ez On, RPM Real Property Management, Butterfly Life, J & J Needlework Art, Soy House, Choices; Manna Music, Dollar wise Small Animal Clinic, Whatcom Plaza, and Anytime Fitness.

With By The Bay Construction there is no middleman. Our customers can relax and know that from design, through construction, and all the way to completion when we hand over the keys, our customers are always dealing directly with Bob, the owner.

Having a good reputation with The Building Department, we can get the plans submitted for permits and can complete the build out in a minimum amount of time.
The Process
- The process starts with an appointment where we discuss our customers' needs.
- Then we create preliminary drawings.
- Once we have our customers' approval of the plans, we bid out and select the right subcontractors.
- Then a Proposal and Scope of Work will be prepared and presented to our customers.
- Once the Proposal and Scope of Work are signed, we submit for permits.
- The first Schedule is prepared and provided to customer when the job is awarded. A revised schedule will be provided towards the end of drywall. Our customers can be assured everything possible is done to meet or beat the Schedule.
- Upon Final Inspection the tenant space is re-keyed and the new keys are handed over to the new Tenant.
